Last build-out phases in Murphy
Murphy has very little raw ground left, so the remaining work is infill lots, teardowns and the final sections wedged between finished streets. A Murphy job on one of those lots takes a single standard unit set at the front facing the street, since neighbors sit close on both sides.
Additions, pools and garage conversions make up much of the rest of the Murphy calendar. Those Murphy sites have limited access, so the unit goes where the excavator and concrete truck both have a clear run.
Murphy Central Park and the league calendar
Murphy Central Park carries youth leagues, movie nights and the city's outdoor events from spring into late fall. A Murphy park order is usually a pair of standard units at each lot with a handwashing station near the concession window.
Festival dates and holiday events fill the same Murphy grounds a few times a year. Those orders are larger, and pickup happens the next working morning so the Murphy lots are clear for regular use.
Maxwell Creek crossings and the Murphy route
Maxwell Creek and its tributaries cut across Murphy, and the crossings decide how a service truck gets from one side of the city to the other. We plan the Murphy route around those crossings rather than doubling back after a closure.
Retail and pad work around the Murphy Marketplace turns over steadily as tenants come and go. A Murphy fit-out holds one unit at the rear service area, because the parking field stays open to shoppers throughout.
Clay under Murphy swells and cracks with the season, so units go on gravel or paving to stay level. That keeps a Murphy door latching properly and keeps the service truck off soft ground.
